Word of Life Church of Allentown, PA Presents
(An Andrew Wommack Ministries Curriculum)
During this bible study, we will search out biblical truths that will help to strengthen and shape our worldview to bring it more into alignment with God's viewpoint as revealed in scripture. Our worldview guides us to make important decisions in our life. Our worldview empowers us to think, believe, and act more like God in a very dark and challenging world. Much of society is going in a direction opposite of God, including Christians. Come and learn how to see things from God's perspective and be empowered to respond to current, challenging events according to God's Word. This class will meet onsite at our church location from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month and is available to everyone.
Have you ever known the truth about a controversial issue but felt ill-equipped or unsure of how to defend it?
A lot of Christians have kept quiet in the face of affronts to God’s Word because of fear and ignorance. Others have been deceived after becoming entangled in the world’s philosophies and depravities. Second Timothy 2:15 says, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
The Word of God has a lot to say about the issues we’re facing in society today. If we stay silent, the unbelievers—who don’t have a biblical worldview—are going to be the ones establishing all of the policies, determining what we can and can’t say, and what we can do and can’t do. This is already happening, and many Christians have just accepted this. They’ve moved away from the words of Jesus. They don’t know what the Word of God has to say on all of these things.
Throughout this bible study, we will be using Andrew Wommack’s curriculum titled “Biblical Worldview: Foundational Truths” to both equip each participant to defend their faith with confidence and help each person to view life through the only lens of truth—the Bible.
